It's me again with another Golem Overlord blog for everyone. In this blog i would like to talk about Scavenger Golems and in that i will try to cover everything in my knowledge.
So let us start by first defining them.
What are Scavenger Golems ?
Scavenger Golems are like miners who mine Parts token for us every second. Based on the number of Scavenger golems you have your mining rate is decided.
Based on your Golem Charging Station level, the total number of scavenger Golems that can be owned by you is being decided.
For Example :
My golem charging station level is 4 and at this level i can contain a total of 30.6 Scavenger Golems with myself. In case i need more scavenger golems than first i will have to upgrade my charging staion level.
From above info we also came to know that in the beginning when a player starts playing the game and has zero level of golem charging station then that person can carry a total of 5 scavenger golems only.
Cost and Mining Rate
The cost of one scavenger golem is 10 Parts and each golem will give you a increase in your mining rate by 0.12 parts per hour.
You can buy scavenger golems in portions as well i.e if you spend 5 Parts then you can own 0.5 Scavenger golem as well. Hence it is not necessary to buy 1 complete scavenger golem at a time.
Reduction rate of scavenger golems
Reduction rate is the rate at which you lose your scavenger golems. Yes you heard that right, your scavenger golem get reduced with time.
The rate at the time of writing this blog is 0.5% per hour of the total scavenger golem owned by a player. So for example if you have 10 scavenger golems and you claim your parts after 8 hours then 4% of your golems ( 0.5*8=4 ) will be reduced.
Hence you will be left with 9.6 Scavenger Golems and further the same maths will be applied on your present available scavenger golems.
Effect of buying Scavenger Golems on your ratings
This is the last thing i will talk about in this blog. This is something everyone might not know so that is the reason behind this last part of the blog.
In the game we have to burn parts to increase our ratings that gives us some bonuses on stats and claims. So will burning parts effect our rating ?
The answer is yes, when you burn parts the ratings will increase but unlike any other burning event this one improves and increase your ratings temporarily.
I am saying that because the moment your scavenger golems are reduced, your ratings will reduce equally. So if the number of golems reduced after your claim was 0.5 scavenger golems, your rating will reduce by 5.
