It's me again with another blog for everyone. I want to ask something to the readers here, Are Love Marriages a failure?
I have heard a lot of people, in fact majority of the people saying that love marriages are a failure compared to arrange marriage.
I am not here to defend any of the two here but to share neutrally what I think about love vs arrange marriages.
Actually if we go with the data then arrange marriage failure are less compared to love marriages and also the rate of divorce is quite less in arrange marriages.
In America according to a report only 4% of the divorce application are coming from the couples who did not go through love marriage.
But what is really the reason of failures of marriages in any of the two conditions? If you will dive in deeply you will see a lot of similarities on both the sides.
When there is no support from the family, love marriage falls in a category where one of the two couple is likely to give up on their marriage for the family.
Reasons like marital violence, lack of understanding, and mutual acceptance is common on both the sides.
So no matter if you are in a love or arrange marriage, what I think is that if you are trusting, understanding, and caring for each other then you will be successful.
But if you are a cheater, you are not understanding each other, you don't like spending time with each other then you will end up failing.
And these reasons are common in both the types of marriages. So apart from a self support in love marriage which is actually a big challenge.
Most of the problems causing divorce are same. If you are in love marriage without parental and family support then it will a tough battle for you.
But you can win it together with love and support.
