The Wealth Of Contentment.

Well, this topic calls for all honesty and sincerity. So, it's better to treat it that way. There was a time I actually thought peace had its own price tag, that I only need to earn a certain amount enough to pay my bills, that I just need to earn enough to not worry about debit alerts and the likes. But to be honest the more you earn, the more responsibilities you have, the more your earnings keep increasing, the more worries, the more needs, the more expectations, the more responsibilities and the more fears of losing. The more the figures kept going high, the more freedom keeps running ahead.

Most times, we do think financial freedom is about attaining a certain amount, maybe achieving a savings goal, or owning a dream business or earning a certain salary or even being able to get and afford whatever we want. But it's not just about that, I personally have com across a lot of wealthy people who are still living pressed down by the weight of financial dear. Their goal was stability, and they kept chasing it, but then they find themselves being trapped in the pressure to maintain that stability. And also, I have come across people who have little yet they seem to have everything, they sleep soundly, they have peace and are happy knowing that their lives are within their own control.

Let's be honest with ourselves. We can only experience true freedom the very moment we stop tying our peace of mind to a number. Financial freedom is when our needs are taken care of, when we don't have to compete and we also understand that contentment on it's own is a great gain and a kind of wealth no currency can measure up to, while balancing it all with gratitude.

Money can buy certain things, it can get you convenience and maybe comfort, but then do you think money can get anyone enoughness. The feeling of having enough and being contended is only born out of you knowing when to really start living and stop chasing. The truth is, we will only keep on chasing, things will continue to come and go, we will never get enough of it, why? Because no matter what, we can't meet up. So, it's best to start living and stop chasing after things.

Living freely is not you trying to escape responsibilities or acting careless with money, but about reaching a point where survival isn't what dictate every decision for you. It's about reaching a point where you can give, buy, rest and all without worrying about scarcity. Living freely is that peace and calmness that comes with you knowing that your life fits well into your means, and not vice versa.

So, how much money do I really need to stop worrying? I need enough to take care of my needs, save while still being able to find joy in simple things and being grateful. I also need the wisdom to know when I have enough, because financial freedom isn't just about numbers, it's a state of mind, and that state of mind begins the very moment we stop measuring life by what we have in our accounts but by valuing that which we already have in our hands.
