Greetings to all the readers here,
I am back with another Splinterlands blog, and today I played 3 battles because I could not win the first 2. So I kept playing until I finally secured a victory.
Battle 1
The first battle came with no special rule, as you can see in the screenshot below.
The mana cost was 24, so the only summoner in my mind was Thalgrimor. I took Thalgrimor into the battle, which you can see in the screenshot below.
The only card I was worried about from the opponent team was Vicious Quilliun, which you can also see in the screenshot below.
This card has the ability to attack the enemy unit with the least health ( opportunity ability ). The problem was that in my team, there were 2 monsters with the same health.
I was hoping that Vicious Quilliun, would target the Arcane Curator
that was less important to me, but unfortunately, that did not happen and he target Sorrow Harvester, I ended up losing the battle.
In the screenshot above, you can see how Dread Tafarian
used its heal ability effectively and helped the opponent win the battle.
After that loss, I checked my summoners again. This time, I decided to take a fire summoner that gives plus 1 speed to all friendly monsters.
Battle 2
In the screenshot below, you can see the battle lineup for the second battle I played today.
In this match, I tried a strategy that had helped me win in previous battles. But to my surprise, I lost again.
Once more, Thalgrimor proved to be strong and managed to secure a win for the opponent without much difficulty.
Battle 3
Now comes the third battle, and I think this was where luck finally favored me. The battle looked a little different, and the opponent came in with only 2 monsters, even though there was still room to bring another one.
The Mana cost was 24 and it is less but still he could have came with 3 monster and you can already see that he came with only 2 of them.
I took Nim Guard Captain with me, and because of my card Sorrow Harvester, the opponent team received minus 2 health in total. This gave me a clear advantage, and I was able to win the battle comfortably.
That is how I managed to win my last battle of the day. I am happy that I ended the session with a victory, and I will be back soon with more Splinterlands blogs.
