I still really can’t believe we are already counting down to the end of the year; it feels like it was just yesterday we were shouting “Happy New Year”
Honestly, this year has been nothing short of a rollercoaster for me; it wasn't the year I envisioned at all. I am fully aware that life rarely goes exactly as planned, but it felt like this year really had its own plans for me, which I wasn’t prepared for.
This year my faith was tested in different ways I never expected, and seriously there were moments when I didn’t know how I would get through. One of the biggest challenges I faced this year was my son’s health. I spent countless days and nights in the hospital, and that alone made me put so many of my goals on hold. As a parent, we will do any and everything just for the well-being of our kids, so I had no choice but to shift my priorities.
I won't lie; those times were emotionally draining and difficult for me, but through it all, I am so grateful that things are improving and that he is doing much better now, and that alone is a huge blessing I won't take for granted.
Despite the different challenges life throws at me, I am so proud of the ways I pushed myself this year. I took on several online courses; it was something I wanted to do this year, but somehow I thought I wouldn't be able to because I never thought I would find the time or energy to do it.
I must say that it wasn’t easy at all, but in the end, it was worth it. It's November and I haven't achieve all the goals I had written down at the beginning of the year, and I am not sure I would be able to achieve all of it but I am super grateful that I was still able to accomplish some things I never even saw coming at the beginning of the year.
One of the biggest surprises for my family this year was buying properties we hadn’t planned for. This was a huge step that we took, which also stretched our finances in ways we hadn’t believed because we were broke for several months, but by God’s grace, we managed to pull through.
Looking back, this year may not have gone the way I imagined it, but I have learned resilience, faith, and gratitude. So for me the year has been a great one, and I am walking into the new year with a heart full of gratitude and hope for what’s to come.

THANK YOU FOR READING TO THE END 🤗
