If time was to freeze for one hour

in Indiaunited5 days ago

I came across this contest a few days ago. It's indeed a thought-provoking question:
"What would you do if time froze for one hour?"
Since then, I’ve been asking myself over and over how would I truly use that precious hour? Well let me get to know by joining the #iucontest

At first, my mind went to rules, policies, and regulations. I thought, If only I could stop time, I would change every law that keeps people in hardship and silent slavery. But afterwards, a deeper thought entered my heart: if I had just one frozen hour, I would dedicate it to humanity.
My focus would be on the little things around me that are often ignored.

I live in an environment where roads and adjoining streets are in terrible condition. Every day, they bring unnecessary pain and suffering.
Children walk to school on dangerous, uneven ground. Pregnant women struggle as they move along rough paths.
Market women carry their heavy goods while dodging potholes.
Drivers damage their vehicles and risk accidents just to get by.
If time were to pause, the very first thing I would do is fix every single road. I would make them smooth, safe, and reliable. Because good roads do not just connect places, they bring comfort, safety, and security to everyone who uses them.

The nature of the roads of will love to change

The second thing that burns in my heart is the amount of waste generated daily. I see plastics and refuse filling our streets and waterways, destroying the beauty of our natural environment. If I had one frozen hour, I would build an industry that recycles waste into pure gold. Imagine what that would mean, a cleaner environment, reduced hazards, new jobs, and industries that transform lives. What was once trash would become treasure, and what was once a problem would turn into a solution.

After doing these things for my people, I would use the remaining minutes of that frozen hour to travel around the world. I would visit mountains, forests, deserts, and ocean, soaking in the breathtaking beauty of nature. For me, that would be more than sightseeing, it would be a reminder of how beautiful life is when we stop and appreciate it.

If time were to freeze for one hour under my control, I would build, I would fix, I would transform, and I would admire.
Humanity would be better, my environment would be cleaner, and my heart would be fuller and grateful.

Thank you. I will keep pushing till I aim higher

Beautiful write-up. Remember its just an hour and it goes so fast especially when you are busy.

Yes.. if that one hour keeps everything still and I am meant to do what my heart desires, then it's humanity I will serve.
