The Hive blockchain is a web3 social media platform that rewards its users for curation and content creation. To find Hive Blockchain worth your while, one must find guidance from people who have had a long stay on the Hive blockchain and have their own experience, and have a better understanding of the dos and don'ts of the Hive blockchain and also understand the different tools on the Hive blockchain, their uses and how they are used. The Hive blockchain has communities as well as individual Hive users who engage in these communities. These communities engage the Hive users with daily or weekly prompts. Singing, creative writing and other sorts of expressive art.

My experience on the Hive blockchain has been fantastic so far. I was introduced to Hive by a friend of mine who lived in the same house and was also a work colleague. He had told me about Hive, but I was reluctant to register until June 2024. Even after I registered, I couldn’t start participating immediately, not until sometime later. My first post was an introductory post, for which I didn’t receive any curation. This discouraged me, but it didn’t stop me from writing a second post, which had the same outcome, with no curation. A third post, and still nothing.
Because my friend who introduced me has always encouraged me to sing with him, I decided to give it a try, even though I didn’t know how to sing. My first post was terrible whcich was in the Vibes community, but I had good encouragement; I had other Hive community members giving me compliments, and I also got curated. This motivated me so much that I continued singing in other communities like the Openmic, the Music Zone.. I will say that I love singing, but singing on the hive block chain made me love singing more because I was becoming good at it, stated singing on key and could sing better using an instrument compared to the period before I started singing on Hive blockchain.
Before engaging and posting in any of the Hive communities, you are expected to read the guidelines of the community and understand what it stands for and how you can participate in the weekly or daily activities. For some of these communities, one is also expected to join their Discord channels, introduce and interact with others in communities, which will help you.
The platforms I have used so far are as follows: my first post was with Peakd, while I used 3speak to post videos and later employed the use of Inleo and lastly Ecency, which I am using consistently now. I love Ecency the most because you all your rewards for yourself, no beneficiaries, and I have been using it for most of my posts. Also, all the platforms are easy to use.
Since I wanted to write on the hive blockchain, I decided to search for communities that could help me write and at the same time get curated for it, i started writing on the sci-fi multiverse community, healthy bee, hive reach out and later Hive learners, my journey so far on hive have been fantastic and interesting, I have learnt a lot, and have also met a lot of good people and recently, I did met very cherished person all of which were made possible because of the Hive blockchain.
