Even if it's a passion now it might be a hobby later or vice versa. If it's a hobby you'll go great guns when the mood strikes and just chill when it isn't right, if it's a passion you will find some way to make time for it through hell or high water (I don't recommend sacrificing sleep for it though that would make me a massive hypocrite). Things aren't so set in stone ;D
