Why I say that I’m still learning is that when it comes to financial management, I am yet to actually say that I am managing my finances. Believe me, some percentage of my finances is that which comes from those I depend on. I still have some relatives and kind hearted individuals who usually assist me when I have bigger financial issues. Someone like that who does not even have enough to cater for his needs cannot boldly say that he or she is managing his finances. But I will share with you the things which I have learnt which I am confident that they can help me to have a good financial life.
He Consumes Wantonly Like A Glutton
I met this young man who eats, and eats, and eats! He eats a lot. All that matters to him is what he will eat. He listens to his stomach more than anything. Imagine someone I know who within a few months had squandered almost all the income which came into his hands without any, I mean any addition. He added nothing to his life but he consumed everything he had. Such a person will tend towards poverty. You can't eat that way to succeed. I mean, a young man who spends time only thinking about what he or she will eat alone does not see the real light. We must learn discipline and know how to control our appetite. Uncontrolled appetite can lead to penury. If you don't keep consuming without gathering, you will become a beggar.
She burns in debts
There is this other lady that I have met. She loves borrowing and owing to do whatever she wants to do. Doing whatever she wants to do does not even sound like she is doing the needful. It is that she wants to drive the kind of car which her hands do not fit. She can manage little beginnings. She can't endure a little discomfort for the moment. She has high taste which is above her ability. The incessant attitude that she possesses pushes her into much and unbearable debts. Hmmm, I have also learned that I should be moderate in what I want to acquire so that I will not launch myself into unnecessary debts.
