RE: Solid State Batteries in another few years

For now, the batteries I'm familiar with in the automotive sector are lithium-ion batteries. I mean, I often hear about this type of battery for electric cars. Reading your post, I realized that solid-state batteries are indeed one of the most interesting technologies for the future of energy storage. It will be interesting to see how long it will take for them to be produced on a large scale and at a cost competitive with current lithium-ion batteries. From some research I did after reading your post, I found that Mercedes-Benz and Factorial Energy are testing a modified EQS with Factorial's solid-state lithium-metal cells. In any case, I'm convinced that the electrification of industry and the automotive sector will increase.
