It's indeed sad for old people to crave love and attention from their family members and not be able to get it, even during special days. People can be so self absorbed in their own lives that they forget about the lives of those that took care of them when they couldn't do much for themselves :(

Why do people forget that someday they will be in that place and probably their children would do the same to them because that's what they have seen their parents doing it.
