What habit changed my life?
When things are not working, we ought not to continue with the same steps and approach; we are encouraged to change our approach to the particular thing we are doing. This is also applicable to our lifestyle and habits in managing our lives while we aim at being successful. From time to time, we are admonished to check our lives, drop certain habits, and take on new ones that will help us become better people.
As for me, one of the habits I adopted that has changed me into a better person is taking enough water, and it has boosted my health a lot. I used to hear people talk about taking in enough water, and it always sounded strange to me because I found it too serious to take water when I'm not thirsty or when I'm not eating. I only took water whenever I was eating food or whenever I was thirsty, and these were on a minimal count.

I changed the habit and welcomed the act of taking in water regularly—not only when I'm eating or when I'm thirsty, but also at normal times. I started noticing how some seasonal headaches I used to experience were no longer happening. I started noticing how agile and easy my body system had become, and also how I stopped feeling motion sickness whenever I traveled in a car. This isn't an exaggeration but a true fact of what happened to my body system.
These days, I take water regularly. I don't carry water around, but I buy sachets of it anytime I'm away from home, and I do that consistently. When I'm eating, I take in more water compared to how I used to do it before. Early in the morning when I wake up, I make sure I take in water. This habit, although it seemed like a difficult task for me when I started at first, became a part of me as I grew into it, to the point where I always want to take water.
You know, it's somehow rare for one to just take a cup of water in the morning without eating food. That has become my habit. I now feel thirsty for water every morning even without eating food.

Thank you for reminding me of this very necessary habit.
