We all have some or the other skills because everyone has different skills or hobbies, and if not, they should find their interest in different things, because if a person knows their hobby, then they can make their hobby a skill. If a person makes their hobby a skill, then the person can never get a better work of interest in doing any work, so we should always prefer to make our hobby a skill.
I have also seen that people earn lakhs and crores of money by following their profession or skills; it can be anything, such as art, sports, designing, or any other thing. And if we follow any profession, whether it is art, sports or any other thing then, we should practise our skills on regular basis, and if we don't practise our skills on regular basis then we can forget our skills and our level of skills can be reduced like a person in very good at playing football, he practises it daily and because of some reasons he can't get time to pracise his skills so, he cannot practise his skill or hobby.
So, after some time, he forgets the level of skills he knew before, and there can be chances that he can totally forget his skills. So, we should practise our skills on a regular basis. So, for today, this much only till further goodbye.
Yes, practice is key in skill development; if you have the best talent, it will be useless or dormant if you don’t practise. John Maxwell is right in stating that, "talent is not enough"; to get the best out of your talent, one of the requirements is constant practice.
