At a time we were close,
We were two peas in a pod,
We joked we made things fun,
We were always there for each other.
Being one, we were okay
Being together almost every day,
Being at peace with each other,
We were so much in love
It was always fun being together.
Then came the wind that blew up
Apart, we tried to be together,
But the wind seemed stronger
We tried we tried,
The wind won us over,
This distant being created,
bring tears and blood to the eyes
its breaks the soul
It makes the earth seems empty,
what will bring us together again?
Now, where are you,
Can seem to find you
We are distant apart
Don't even know where
You are at,
This distant seem so great
Only wish we could
Find each other again,
And erase this the distance
The distance is so great
Wish we could find each other again
To make this distance erased
And clear the storm from our heart
We need that peace of mind
To make the distance space
Between us, to make it go away.
Make the distant go away
and bring the love back
and the care back to our heart.

The yearning, the desire to be intertwined with our lover, the one that makes our heart beat faster is something we can all relate to. Unfortunately, love doesn't always win; actually it loses more time than we care to admit.
