Good day to all @homeedders friends! It's nice to be back here at Homeedders after being away from blogging.
Today, I would like to share our new homeschooling journey compared to last year.
Last year we choose the module homeschooling journey since there is no online class offered for elementary public school. This year for a change we switch into online class homeschooling.
Our experience between module homeschooling and online class has a huge difference.
The Difference between Online Class and Module Class.
Online Class : In this homeschooling journey kids needs a stable internet connection and a proper gadgets like cellphone, personal computer or laptop.
I have realized that online class is better than module class.
The teacher can be able to explain the presentation of the lesson online about their lessons, and the kids can participate in the online oral recitation. Mostly the teacher give a quiz to the kids after the lesson.
I have observed that my kids are learning a lot, such as reading online and offline. They also learn to communicate with their classmates online, create art activities etc.
My kindergarten daughter learns how to be more creative by doing her art activities, writing, basic reading, performing educational dance activities, answering modules on her own. I have discovered that she is a fast learner, and she likes a lot what was doing.
She loves writing, colouring and doing her artworks. She may not be that perfect, but at least she can do with minimal guidance because she is a fast learner. Furthermore, she is doing better than her older brother.
My grade 2 Son is a bit slow, but he is doing better now than before during modular lesson. Although until now, he is still lazy but unlike before, he is forced to join online class and participate than before that I am the one who answers his module because he did not learn anything before. He is incapable to read, write, and do other school activities before unlike now that he is active of participating activities in his online class. He can now read in Tagalog and slowly learning to read in English and do other school activities on her own will.
My eldest daughter, she is now in grade 6. Her lesson is getting so tough, but she can manage well. I do not worry much about my eldest daughter because she can organized everything in fact, she even helped her brothers and sisters doing their activities , assignments and create a logo for her eldest sister talent agency. It is also a part of her lesson to create a business logo.
I therefore conclude that I am doing the right choice to enroll my kids in online class. It was a bit tough for me to manage everything as solo parent because I need to make sure that everything is organized that they will not miss any of their lessons. At first quarter I am having a hard time to manage them because I still need to work full time to provide our needs but since I stopped working and switching to cryptocurrency ang blogging I can manage everything now.
I have written in my white board my routines to manage my daily task including house chores, kids lessons, reading etc. Including my working schedule. These really helps me a lot, you might also like to try.
So, this is all for today, my friends. I will post again next time about our home activities thank you so much for reading :)
You and your children are doing a good job. Keep it up.
Thank you so much my friend.I am sure that you are doing a good job too.
You're welcome (^_^)
That's great you've found a method that is working better for them. They look like they're really happy now.
