The five senses are fundamental for the human being, since through them we can perceive, distinguish, recognize and differentiate the environment that surrounds us. Today we are going to stimulate the primary sense of touch for the early stimulation of children, representing the largest organ of the human body such as the skin, where the largest number of nerve receptors are focused, which will allow them to recognize qualities own objects such as their hardness, texture, temperature among others, thus expanding sensory activity.

It is important to teach our children these basic concepts from home at an early age, to make them fully aware and protagonist of their environment.

Today I show you an ideal practical exercise to teach the different textures of objects at home with common materials, for this I draw the palm of the girl's hand and to each finger we assign an object with different textures to differentiate and recognize.

1. To the thumb we assign the smooth texture represented with a piece of foam.

2. We assign the hard texture to the index finger, represented by a pebble.

3. To the middle finger we assign the rough texture represented in a dry sea urchin.

4. We assign the ring finger The soft texture represented with a piece of cotton.

5. To the little finger we assign the rough texture represented with a piece of sandpaper.

We have a lot of fun doing this exercise, and it is impressive how educational it is, the child has fun learning, becoming aware of the different textures of his environment, and we can also do it with a little cold and warm water to learn to differentiate the temperatures.

Hoping that this post has been to your liking and useful, I say goodbye until another opportunity, wishing you many blessings and success, greetings!

To be able to recognize the quality and texture of a material we have to practice this kind of activity. By this, children can identify what object it is and can describe how does it look like and feel like. Thanks for this @danhyelita24

This is another great activity that I can do with my son. Thank you for always sharing such helpful activities that help in the development of a child. Have a nice day ahead.
