Congratulations for preparing yourself to help your son, you know you must have a lot of confidence in him and his abilities, in you as a mother who will be able to help your son in the process of life, not only in learning the things that have to do with formal education but of life itself, this process involves the whole family. Do not stress or demand too much one day at a time, this is how it should be, children with autism spectrum are really geniuses, they can develop skills and a superior intelligence; we are just getting ready to understand them, you know that it was only in 1992 when the world health organization began to publish manuals to classify the spectrum and to understand what happens with people classified in them. So I tell you my dear, there is a long way to go and they can surpass our expectations, we just need to have the right strategies and you are doing it right.
