In spite of the economic, political and social crisis we are experiencing in our country, marked by a terrible hyperinflation that has brought as a consequence an increase in poverty; most Venezuelans keep a positive attitude, we try to be cheerful and always with our faith in God, when we are asked "How are you", we always answer with "We are fine", even if we have not even had a bite of food at that moment.

Living in Venezuela is not easy, the high cost of living differs too much from what we perceive with a job; many people have more than one job to be able to maintain their home, the bolivar which is our currency is overvalued, and all prices are fixed in dollars, but we receive our salary in bolivars, the instability of prices is impressive, the price of an article can vary in hours.

The minimum wage in Venezuela is 1,800,000 bolivars per month plus a food bonus of 1,800,000 bolivars per month, which means that a worker receives 3,600,000 bolivars (a little less than 2$), which is not even enough to buy a quarter of the food necessary for a week, making it impossible to cover other expenses such as gas. 3,600,000 bolivars (a little less than $2.00), which is not even enough to buy a quarter of the food necessary for a week, which makes it impossible to cover other expenses such as gas, which, due to the scarcity of this, you have to buy from resellers at prices ranging between $3 - $5.00; less can you afford to get sick because there are no medicines in health centers and it is an expense that you cannot cover, even if you stop eating.

Venezuelans do not give up in the face of adversity, we are determined, as my grandmother used to say; If we have little food we make it yield and we all eat, if we don't have gas, we cook on the electric stove and if there is no light to turn it on, we cook on a stove, but we always cook on the stove, but always in the same way, we are always ready for the next day.
