Hello my esteemed and creative friends at Hive and Homeedders. Today has been a very entertaining day in terms of science and physics at home, well according to the ages of my girls. We like to experiment together and that the teaching is very dynamic, full of good strategies that leave meaningful experiences. So today, they were able to learn a little about gravity, through an easy parachute made in the heat of our home.
Hola mis estimados y creativos amigos de Hive y Homeedders. Hoy ha sido un día muy entretenido en cuanto a ciencias y física en la casa, bien acorde a las edades de mis niñas. Nos gusta juntas experimentar y que la enseñanza sea muy dinámica, llena de buenas estrategias que dejen experiencias significativas. Por lo que hoy, pudieron aprender un poco sobre la gravedad, a través de un fácil paracaídas elaborado en el calor de nuestro hogar.
An important topic to teach our children is about the laws of gravity and the fall of bodies and what better way for this not only to be explanations and concepts full of many words, but they can experience through the realization of an object that allows them to capture learning in a very striking and stimulating way.Making this toy of scientific experience has nothing complicated and is extremely fast to make, you only need: plastic bags, thread, scissors, a marker and some light wrist stones.
Un tema importante de enseñar a nuestros hijos es sobre las leyes de gravedad y la caída de los cuerpos y que mejor manera de que esto no solo quede en explicaciones y conceptos llenos de muchas palabras, sino que puedan experimentar a través de la realización de un objeto que les permite captar el aprendizaje de una manera muy llamativa y estimulante. Realizar este juguete de experiencia científica no tiene nada de complicado y es sumamente rápido de elaborar, solo necesitas: Bolsas plásticas, hilo, tijera, un marcador y unas piedras livianas de pulsera.
1- In a plastic bag I marked a hexagon with the marker and then cut it out obtaining two parts, as you can see in the following photographs:

2- With the help of the scissors open four holes, one at each tip and in them pass the thread (one strip for each hole). Look at the images.

One of the first things I did was dress my girls as if they were scientists to make the great experience of learning science and physics more striking, interesting and fun.In a simple way I explained to my daughters a little about the term "Gravity", that it is part of a phenomenon of invisible nature and that an astronomer, mathematician and physicist Isaac Newton was interested in studying the force of gravity, in terms of the curiosity he felt about why objects fall or precipitate. And well, not to drag on you on the subject at hand... I took my two little girls to the backyard for experimentation.
Una de las primeras cosas que hice fue vestir a mis niñas como si fuesen científicas para hacer más llamativa, interesante y divertida la gran experiencia de aprender de ciencias y de física. De manera sencilla expliqué a mis hijas un poco sobre el termino "Gravedad", que forma parte de un fenómeno de la naturaleza invisible y que un astrónomo, matemático y físico Isaac Newton se intereso en estudiar la fuerza de la gravedad, en cuanto a la curiosidad que sentía en torno al por qué los objetos se caen o precipitan. Y bueno, para no alargarles a ustedes sobre el tema en cuestión... Lleve a mis dos pequeñitas al patio de la casa para la experimentación.
Both were on a not very high part of the courtyard where they could be safe; (besides that their grandmother was nearby taking care of them while I explained and took the photos) to throw our parachutes up and see how they fell.
Ambas estaban sobre una parte no muy alta del patio donde podían estar seguras; (además que su abuelita estaba cerca cuidándolas mientras yo les explicaba y tomaba las fotos) para lanzar nuestros paracaídas hacia arriba y ver como estos caían.

Enseñamos ciencia y física rápida, divertida haciendo uso de materiales sencillos de reciclaje que tenemos en casa.

Desarrollamos las habilidades de observación, razonamiento y análisis.
My girls loved the activity and spent the whole afternoon dropping the parachute all over the house hehe It's an excellent experience!They learn through this toy "parachute" that due to the force of terrestrial gravity a person without a parachute rushes easily against the ground, however with the use of this can be in the air due to the molecules of nitrogen and oxygen that enter the center of it and make it a good landing.What teaches them to be careful and cautious about heights and not launch themselves madly from them and with anything simulating a parachute.
Mis niñas amaron la actividad y pasaron toda la tarde lanzando el paracaídas por toda la casa jeje ¡Es excelente la experiencia! Aprenden por medio de este juguete "paracaídas" a que debido a la fuerza de la gravedad terrestre una persona sin paracaídas se precipita con toda facilidad contra el suelo, en cambio con el uso de este puede estar en el aire debido a las moléculas de nitrógeno y oxigeno que ingresan al centro del mismo y hacen que pueda tener un buen aterrizaje. Lo que les enseña a tener cuidado y precaución en cuanto a las alturas y no lanzarse de manera alocada de ellas y con cualquier cosa simulando un paracaídas.
