Cuando leí las interrogantes tomé el tiempo necesario para pensar y dar a conocer mi punto de vista, quizás para ciertas personas el proceso de Enseñanza-aprendizaje sea un tema muy complejo de abordar, nos encontramos en una adaptación inesperada de la educación de nuestros hijos que sorpresivamente llegó y al parecer no se irá tan pronto como pensábamos. Ciertamente, cuando inició el Covid-19 nuestra cotidianidad cambió totalmente, los niños en edad escolar fueron retirados de sus espacios pedagógicos para ser formados académicamente de forma virtual.
Está maravillosa comunidad nos ha regalado una serie de interrogantes el cual estaré respondiendo algunas de ella a continuación.

When I read the questions I took the time to think and make my point of view known, perhaps for some people the teaching-learning process is a very complex issue to address, we are in an unexpected adaptation of the education of our children that surprisingly came and apparently will not leave as soon as we thought. Certainly, when Covid-19 started, our daily life changed completely, school-age children were removed from their pedagogical spaces to be trained academically in a virtual way.
This wonderful community has given us a series of questions which I will be answering some of them below.
¿Cree que la forma en que se educa a su hijo lo está preparando para el futuro? Do you think the way your child is being educated is preparing him/her for the future?
¿Se están preparando mis hijos para el futuro? Pienso que sí! Afortunadamente, mis hijos han tenido excelentes maestros comprometidos con la formación académica de sus estudiantes, a pesar de tener una Educación a distancia y estar ellos inscritos en instituciones pública puedo decir con certeza que están recibiendo instrucciones claras acerca del desarrollo de sus actividades escolares. Claro, no todo depende de un programa ni mucho menos de unas instrucciones, sino del compromiso que adquirimos como padres y brindar el apoyo incondicional en la vida de nuestros pequeños.
Ahora bien, ¿Como profesora estoy preparando a mis estudiantes para el futuro? ¡Muy buen punto para conversar un rato! No soy la mejor maestra del mundo pero, me considero comprometida con el futuro de cada uno de ellos, es indescriptible lo que representa el ejercicio de la profesión docente en Venezuela más que todo por las adversidades por la cual hemos estado atravesado los últimos años y aún así continuo firme en mis funciones porque creo que todo lo malo en algún momento pasará y a futuro tendremos profesionales dispuestos a servir al prójimo.
It is a point that leads me to reflect for two reasons: I am a mother and also a teacher.
Are my children preparing for the future? I think so! Fortunately, my children have had excellent teachers committed to the academic formation of their students, in spite of having a distance education and being enrolled in public institutions, I can say with certainty that they are receiving clear instructions about the development of their school activities. Of course, not everything depends on a program, much less on instructions, but on the commitment that we acquire as parents and provide unconditional support in the lives of our children.
Now, as a teacher, am I preparing my students for the future? That's a good point to talk about for a while! I am not the best teacher in the world, but I consider myself committed to the future of each one of them. It is indescribable what the teaching profession represents in Venezuela, especially because of the adversities we have been going through in the last few years, and yet I remain firm in my duties because I believe that all the bad things will pass at some point and in the future we will have professionals willing to serve their fellow man.

De ninguna manera, adaptarnos a una nueva "normalidad" no fue tarea fácil, acá puedo comentar basado en mi experiencia, soy madre de 2 niños en edad escolar, su rutina consistía en asistir regularmente a la escuela mientras yo lo hacía a mi lugar de trabajo (escuela), son niños muy apegados a la escuela, les gusta compartir con sus amiguitos y la atención de las maestras sin duda alguna es excepcional, al llegar la cuarentena debíamos quedarnos en casa y comenzar el trabajo online, debo reconocer que tengo las herramientas necesarias para cumplir la función pedagógica con ellos pero, ¿Qué debía hacer cuando me decían NO ERES MI MAESTRA? y es aquí lo complicado del asunto, al transcurrir las semanas de aislamiento tocó rediseñar las actividades escolares para salir de la monotonía y construir juntos un aprendizaje a largo plazo.
Mi experiencia como profesora tampoco escapa de la realidad, resultó algo muy inquietante tener que planificar mis actividades online, quizás con mis hijos haya ventaja que conozcan el contenido pero, la mayoría de mis representantes desconocen las estrategias ideales para desarrollar una actividad de forma dinámica y comprensible. Además, las fallas recurrentes en el servicio eléctrico, Internet y equipos tecnológicos no han Sido nuestros mejores aliados.

And this is the complicated part of the matter, as the weeks of isolation went by, it was time to redesign the school activities to get out of the monotony and build together a long-term learning.
My experience as a teacher does not escape from reality either, it was very disturbing to have to plan my online activities, maybe with my children there is an advantage that they know the content, but most of my representatives do not know the ideal strategies to develop an activity in a dynamic and understandable way. In addition, the recurrent failures in the electric service, Internet and technological equipment have not been our best allies.
¿Cuál es tu momento favorito de enseñanza / aprendizaje?What is your favorite teaching/learning moment?
Este proceso me encanta, porque gracias a los conocimientos que he podido obtener en mi formación académica y el pasar de los años en la función docente (Educación Especial) debemos tener presente las NECESIDADES E INTERESES de cada estudiante. El momento favorito de la enseñanza es cuando desarrollo cualquier actividad lúdica pero con un enfoque pedagógico, es decir, el niño obtiene un aprendizaje "jugando" el cual se convertirá en significativo porque simplemente no fue aburrido y lo recordará para siempre.
Actualmente, aplico diversas actividades con mis hijos, incluso hemos diseñado algunas estrategias para compartir en #hive, sus edades son muy distintas por lo tanto sus NECESIDADES E INTERESES también lo son, he tenido que buscar un equilibrio entre ellos para obtener excelentes resultados.
Keny David (8años) es amante a la lectura, siente atracción por la matemática y usa perfectamente la computadora (bajo mi supervisión jajaja) Daniel Jesús (4años) es un niño muy curioso, su lenguaje es claro y preciso, ya identifica correctamente los números, letras, colores, figuras geométricas entre otras, le apasiona dibujar y realizar actividades manuales.
I love this process, because thanks to the knowledge that I have been able to obtain in my academic training and the passing of the years in the teaching function (Special Education) we must keep in mind the NEEDS AND INTERESTS of each student. The favorite moment of teaching is when I develop any playful activity but with a pedagogical approach, that is, the child gets a learning "playing" which will become significant because it was not boring and he/she will remember it forever.
Currently, I apply various activities with my children, we have even designed some strategies to share in #hive, their ages are very different so their NEEDS AND INTERESTS are also different, I have had to find a balance between them to get excellent results.
Keny David (8 years old) loves reading, he is attracted to mathematics and uses the computer perfectly (under my supervision hahaha) Daniel Jesus (4 years old) is a very curious child, his language is clear and precise, and correctly identifies numbers, letters, colors, geometric shapes among others, he loves to draw and perform manual activities.

Cómo educamos en tiempos de #pandemia y los resultados que podemos obtener podría ser un tema para el debate, en el que principalmente entrarían como participantes los padres o representantes; a quienes les corresponde guiar desde sus hogares la instrucción del aprendizaje en los hijos. ¡Tarea nada fácil! para los que no estaban acostumbrados.

Even though I have a teaching background, I still work full-time from home, and it can sometimes be frustrating that although I am right next to my kids all day, I can't find as much time to teach them one-on-one as I'd like.
