La educación actual ademas de ser en casa implica también ser llevada en vez de salones de clases, en espacios de los hogares que hemos tratado de organizar para cumplir la función educativa. Sin embargo, hay que ser realistas y asumir que existen diversas consecuencias en esta modalidad de enseñanza que la crisis sanitaria nos ha llevado a ejecutar y que implican mayor esfuerzo para los docentes quienes al regresar a los colegios e institutos educativos se encontraran con el hecho de que habilidades ya adquiridas por el estudiante, ahora deben ser nuevamente enseñadas y reforzadas

Entre las consecuencias positivas de la educación en casa estan el acercamiento entre padres e hijos, el tiempo de calidad que los progenitores ahora dedican a sus hijos tanto para apoyarles en sus labores escolares como para entretenerse en familia. Desde el punto de vista negativo la educación en casa implica que muchos estudiantes presenten retrasos en la adquisición de conocimientos y habilidades, ya que los padres no tienen las herramientas pedagógicas con las cuales el docente cuenta. Ademas que hay que considerar el factor tecnológico requerido para esta educación en casa actual y del cual hay familias que presentan problemas de ausencia de equipo adecuado, problemas de conectividad e incluso falta de ingresos para mantener planes de internet y telefonía al día, como es evidenciado en los hogares de mi pais Venezuela.
From the negative point of view, homeschooling implies that many students present delays in the acquisition of knowledge and skills, since parents do not have the pedagogical tools with which the teacher has. In addition, we must consider the technological factor required for this current home education and of which there are families that have problems of lack of adequate equipment, connectivity problems and even lack of income to keep internet and telephone plans up to date, as is evidenced in the homes of my country Venezuela.
En mi caso como madre y docente que soy me resulta tema que se debe reflexionar y analizar, porque por mas que intentamos suplir al docente en casa, la realidad es que nos hemos visto con muchas dificultades para brindar a nuestros hijos la educación que el colegio brinda. Yo si bien es cierto que cuento con conocimientos pedagógicos, soy docente universitario y debo admitir que al momento de enseñar a mi hijo de preescolar, por no ser mi área sentí muchas incertidumbres que imagino les sucedió a muchas madres que no sabían como enfrentarse a la enseñanza en casa. Mi gran pregunta es ¿Como llegaran a clases nuestros hijos, se abran atrasado o fue suficiente lo que pudimos enseñarles siendo mamas-maestras?

Although it is true that I have pedagogical knowledge, I am a university teacher and I must admit that at the time of teaching my preschool son, not being my area, I felt many uncertainties that I imagine happened to many mothers who did not know how to face teaching at home. My big question is:How will our children get to school, will they fall behind or was it enough what we were able to teach them as moms-teachers?

Hola @mercmarg exactamente amiga, ha sido complicado porque como menciono por lo menos yo tengo estrategias andragogicas mas para niños en edad preescolar he tenido que estudiar ja ja. Pero eso no es igual en la mayoria de los casos, en hogares donde las madres no tienen ni los medios tecnologicos ni estan motivadas para estar estudiando en aras de ayudar a los hijos, entonces que educación estan recibiendo realmente los hijos en este tiempo en casa? Gracias por tu aporte y tu apoyo amiga. Un abrazo

hola @caribayarte efectivamente las asesorias han sido un gran apoyo y gracias a estas es que nos han orientado los docentes y han podido a su vez evaluar el progreso del niño en casa. Lamentablemente estas asesorias no se han podido dar en todos los casos o quizas no todos tienen la disponibilidad de poder llevar al estudiante. Esperemos que cuando iniciemos actividades escolares formales, nuestros esfuerzos en casa evidencien que nuestros hijos siguen estando en un nivel de aprendizaje adecuado a su edad y que si hayamos cumplido la misión de que lograran adquirir las habilidades necesarias. Excelente... y muy buena pregunta la qe haces al final del post. puedo decirte que si resulta difícil, no soy madre pero si maestra de preescolar y he visto hasta madres llorar por no saber como interpretar las tareas que le envían a los niños.
Hola @junydoble muchas gracias por tomarte tu tiempo y leer mi post. Que interesante que hagas mencion a esa pregunta final que planteo, porque es una de las cosas que me generan incertidumbres. Yo como madre he tratado de darle lo mayor posible a mis hijos pero estoy conscientes de que no cuento con las herramientas y estrategias idoneas. Ha sido todo un reto para mi que despues de dar clases a jovenes entrando a la adultez y a personas adultas como tal, he tenido que interactuar con la enseñanza de bachillerato y preescolar a la vez. Sin embargo esto nos ha traido grandes enseñanzas que no podemos obviar. Gracias y abrazos
Hello very good post in terms of being a reflection from your experience. Certainly homeschooling has some disadvantages that must be solved but they are minimal when we approach the benefits it brings. The school does not guarantee the learning of the contents in its entirety nor much less the development of skills in children only it is institutions that for years have worked focused on a generalized curriculum and that regardless of whether they learn or not equally will be applied by teachers. And if I am also a teacher and I have seen the deficiencies of the system from day one, today I have been fascinated to see how parents have bravely taken on the home education of their children and whether they have a tutor or a teaching agent to support them, very significant changes are taking place. That homeschooling requires more from parents, of course, but we must also think that for years schools were used as large daycare centers where the teacher had to wait for hours after dismissal for the parent to remember to pick up the child at school (it happened to me many times during my 18 years as a teacher) and that parents do not have all the pedagogical strategies that is more than obvious, but they learn as well as good teachers have learned, that parents do not have all the knowledge, neither do teachers, and no matter how many years we have been in the same job, we almost always have to prepare the classes and study before teaching them to refresh our knowledge. Today homeschooling is presented as an opportunity and an added value to family life, I think it is the perfect opportunity for parents to discover that learning occurs primarily at home and that outside the home people will strengthen, polish or develop skills that have already been enhanced at home. And yes I think that one of the weaknesses in countries like Venezuela is the technology because not all the population has access to it but as you mentioned they are specific cases and on the other hand not everything is through the networks but you can take a look at the beautiful posts of the members of the community where they talk about their learning experiences without the use of technology. I really value your experience and as you point out there is still much to investigate but for me homeschooling has more benefits than consequences.
