ENGLISH GAMES TO TRAIN NEW SKILLS

in Home Edders2 months ago

Hey, guys!

Some posts ago I told you about my son's first success in English.
He studied all letetrs and started reading.

At first it was simple short words to train some letters combination. Now it's longer words and even simple sentences which he can read and say without reading.
Now we train speaking more and use these simple phrases much to learn them by heart.

As a rule almost every day we take a new letetr combination to train its reading.
For exampl OO, ER, AR, EE, OR and rules of reading open and closed syllables.

But sometime we make a pause for new info and just train what we've learned using some games.

Today we practiced a new Puzzle game for simple English grammar constructions used in sentences.

he cut them into pieces

and started creating sentences

The task was to create a sentence having separate pieces of paper with some words written there. All words should be placed in right places.

I liked my son was training reading + grammar in one game;)

Another game was Puzzles for words.

We bought a cool painting tablet some days ago, and now we use it as a device for writing and some games.

I wrote some simple English words with mixed letters, and he had to guess this word.

He mixes Russian and English "d" still;) No problem - practice makes perfect;)

Vlad gave right variants almost in all exercises, so I've checked, our way in English is going rather nice;)

What games do you use for English??

Hello @taliakerch teaching the language is a very beautiful thing. I would like to add my language to the Arabic language, my mother and father
English ---- my mothe --- Arabic --- امى
English ---- father --- Arabic --- ابى
The word my mothe is pronounced in Arabic --- mama
The word my father is pronounced in Arabic --- baba

wow how interesting
mama and baba - cool!
mama is clear, baba is very unusual for us because in Russia baba is an old woman, a grandmother

but I heard that in India baba is a respectful form for men, so you're close to them

Que bueno que su hijo siga su proceso de aprendizaje del idioma ingles, estas actividades gramaticales son muy productivas para ellos.
