I didn't make a bot! I created a whole gamification project around blockchain activity and the notification system is only a small part of it.
Contrary to what you are implying, I in no way copied the idea of your bot. I Initiated my project long before your bot made its first comment.
It was initially launched on the Golos blockchain, the Russian counterpart of Steem.
If you want to see a funny picture, here is a mockup of the Goloboard website:

Yes, the style of the badges is very ... "Russian".
The Golosboard official announcement was published at the very beginning of January 2017, that is days before your first bot's comment. But it was a project with several months of preparation behind it. Unfortunately, Golos is dead and many images are missing in the above-mentioned post. It was subsequently redesigned to have a common graphic charter with Steem.
Needless to say that the notifications were already an integral part of the project from its inception and the main reason for its success, on both platforms.
So I could, if I wanted to be mean, return the idea-grabber's compliment to you. But, hey, we're not here to have such a contest.
You don't like its notifications, it's your right and that of other users. But you all have the ability to stop getting them by opting out. I even think that the @hivebuzz bot is the only one offering such an option. But I might be wrong.
And as a last resort, you can simply mute the @hivebuzz account. This blockchain is so cool ;)
I never implied you stole my idea, because I explicitly wrote:
If you want to be thourough: @elyaque's badges themselves had been first published weeks before my bot went live. It is I who could have been mean, and still could because it is funny how touchy you are on the subject, but...
I wanted to show you, how you could have made a service you have to opt in instead one that spams everybody, easily. And that is what I wrote.
If you read my post: I was complaining about how you never cared about the silent agreement not to spam bot comments. And that you got really successful with something I thought was at least frowned upon.
OK, from here I start philosophizing a bit, so don't get me wrong.
From a semantic point of view, to say that you are not saying something is to say it anyway.
I'm not saying you are an idiot but may I ask you how you feel after reading the beginning of this sentence? 😉
I had perfectly read and understood what you wrote and what you consider as "being touchy" on my part is more a desire for sharing information than a defensive response.
Your comment was more about the (bot) notifications than the badges, but my goal was to provide you with a global picture of the (now) Hivebuzz project.
As far as elyaque is concerned, I know very well what he did and when he did it. My project was already in progress but not yet finished and he did indeed take me short of a few weeks. When great minds meet...
Everyone creates their own reality, including me, based on the information they have. Hence the interest in sharing these so that everyone can broaden their horizon.
End of philosophizing
Merry Christmas to you 🎅
The best part: @hivebuzz replied to me again under this post.
Oh, the irony.
Yeah, I saw it =)
It's both ironic and deliberately programmed.
Someone on the platform loves you enough to give you a badge. Why should I deprive you of this unexpected good news?
Do you want me de add a 'STOP-ALL' opt-out option? 😅
It's all good.
I respect you much more after this conversation and I have been unfair.
Just for the record:
Back then, I would have not been able to create a website or a reliable bot, anyways.
I have since advanced my skills and today, I would beat you to it :P
Me neither. I cut my teeth in the field. So we kind of started on the same line.
Catch me if you can!
