I mean you can't say it is in my principle against this type of bot reward metric and then choose to join?
If I had joined in (and that was years ago), I could have had a lot more funds today, generating more leverage to achieve what I am trying. I don't want to be the guy critizising everybody else, while making no moves myself.
There is a contradiction alright; I just wanted to articulate the question and maybe get some answers in the comments, but I just ended up causing all sorts of trouble.
Reframe your thoughts then and don't see it as a principle thing you are breaking. That is where a firm belief comes from (Not saying you don't have one), but your principles seem to want to derive from a collective meritocracy standpoint (which is admirable) so do it and show people what your version of that looks like instead of disagreeing with how someone else achieves that...
Actually having this conversation has helped me... because I actually refrained from doing giveaways a lot and talking about strategies and gameplay, because I didn't want to influence prices. Now I am going to do it but at scale. I'm not even going to be doing it from bots but through relentless post of adding value to different communities and figuring out how to balance it all.
