Hive-Engine Developers Meeting - March 22nd

in #hive-engine3 years ago

It's getting hard to keep track of all the development that's happening on Hive-Engine. Things are really taking off. The ultimate goal of the project is to make a blogging site that's empowered with lots of powerful features that are easy to use to spread your token far and wide and accept it back for value via NFTs and marketplaces. We want it easy to send and receive your token and easy to exchange it for value.

Development

@donchate: The Diesel Pool rewards contract is done. It's in what's hopefully the last round of review and will hopefully be live tomorrow. We'll need a little front end work to make it usable by anyone, but the key here is that if you're running a Diesel Pool you'll be able to setup inflation from your token to go accounts that are providing liquidity.

On the small scale this means that BEE can be given to the people contributing to the HIVE:BEE pool, and DEC could be given to people contributing to the DEC/HIVE pool, but wait there's more!

Don is also completing what we call the Decentralized Token Fund contract. This is a tool that will work like the Decentralized Hive Fund, but be available PER TOKEN. So, you have inflation, you direct some of that inflation to your DTF and now users can submit proposals and vote on them to direct funds.

In the case of Hive-Engine we'll be setting up a DTF for BEE and generating proposals to stake tokens into a variety of Diesel Pools. It doesn't just have to be for BEE ones. It could be platform wide ones like Hive:BTC or for project specific like DEC:HIVE. If the stakeholders want to support certain pools with extra rewards we can do that.

If you want a say in where these funds will go you should buy up some BEE and stake it! You'll be directing funds via the BEE DTF.

@Cryptomancer is working on ERC20 gateways. We have our first ERC20 functioning with BAT on the platform, but we want more. We're trying to automate this process so that anyone that wants to add their ERC20 to the project can pay 1000 BEE and start right up.

@reazuliqbal is working on a million things. We're launching an NFT music platform. We are getting smart contract forms up and running on tribaldex.com. We're building blogging into tribaldex. When these various parts are put together we'll fork it and let you use your own token in it. You'll have a place for smart contract actions, NFTs, blogging, and have everything you need for building your web 3.0 community.

@lion200 is working on getting ERC20s and ETH into hive-engine classic. We're going to continue supporting that website as it's a little friendlier for new people into crypto and because we're building a mobile application for it.

He's also working on dswap. The goal there is to get to a payment system. So, on a site like nftshowroom you'll have a button that says "Pay with Hive" and another that says "Pay with Crypto." The crypto button will deposit the crypto, convert it swap.crypto, swap it for swap.hive, potentially swap it for a Hive-Engine Token, purchase the NFT, and then send the NFT to your account. All by just clicking 1 button and we'll handle the rest.

@bait002 He's working two projects. He's getting hive-engine mobile launched. That should happen sometime this week. He's getting the Defidolly project up and running.

New collectibles. It's not on the recording, but the pack manager contract is live and I'm working on getting a new collection of cards available for sale. Here's a sneak peak at defidojo. It's a demonstration project to show how users can create packs with collectibles with varying rarities on the platform.

hello @aggroed ,
you are doing an excellent job, what I like the most is the payment button I think it will give a great boost to the project is a joy that many good things are to come on the platform, successes

DTF sounds really interesting. Development funds for every token. Who would have thought about it?

Will the 40 days order cancellation be fix as that's is what's driving the price of most hive-engine tokens down. If that's not fix to at lest a year most project with low findings will still continue to dey
