[UPDATE]: After 3 days of back and forth with Binance customer service, the problem has finally been identified.
Binance's system does not recognise the standard # for encrypting a memo in the memo field in their system.
I finally put the withdrawl through with a blank memo field.
I've been trying for 2.5 days to make a simple withdrawal of HIVE from my Binance account to my Hive wallet.
It keeps on failing and Binance say there is a problem with the "HIVE network".
As far as I can see Hive transfers are working just fine so the problem must be on the Binance end.
Their customer support has been giving me the run around without them actually fixing the problem for 2.5 days now.
I hate centralised exchanges!
Hmm, I might I have withdraw from Binance about 16 hours ago.
Did they upgrade to the latest hive HF?
Binance is evil af.
I wouldn't trust CZ even with my garbage.
I am sorry you had to experience this, maybe you can try again , sometimes it might be in the air, I also did one transaction on finance like 2days ago, and something similar happened , but it was rectified. I hope you stay calm and try again later.
Really, because hive network not i face any time issue. This is binanace side issues. All centralized exchange not trust.
That is odd since I have been using stealthex.io with no problem and they rely on Binance for HIVE swaps.
They have had some issues since after the hardfork. I'm not using Binance anymore not matter the fees I'm paying.
We are always trying to improve the usage experience for Hive as a payment method, but it requires just a little bit of good will from their side to better integrate our Blockchain with their systems. Our Blockchain has no "known issue" right now that justifies what their support says.
they don't use MEMO priv. key in their scripts
