RE: Hive without HBD

in #hive • 2 months ago

Longevity is the most important measure of robustness in the crypto space and generally.

The risk of depeg is vastly overstated and even if it does depeg that is not the end of the world. Likely only be temporary.

This idea of getting rid of HBD is like destroying core components of your car because of the risk you might have an accident.

It would far more likely destroy Hive than improve Hive's situation.

"Economics is bad" is not a correct or even meaningful statement.

Hive's is NOT a business. It is NOT supposed to be a way to make money.

Analysing it like some business is completely wrong headed.

You have read my comment assuming I was arguing against HBD...

You said:

Before that, you also said:

What do you mean by ''destroy Hive'' or ''improve Hive's situation'' if it's not a business nor a way to make money? How can it be destroyed or improved if ''economics is bad'' is not a meaningful statement? What is there to destroy or improve here if we completely take away the economic aspect?

Not even arguing against HBD, just interested in mental gymnastics.
