Price pumped before the airdrop, and started to dump before it.
Considering all exchanges closed deposits too, the drop in price has been mainly due to traders wanting to make money on that airdrop news. So that might mean not so many people were really interested in Hive from an investment perspective.
All this needs time to stabilize but considering a lot of people need to power-down on Steem and the fact considering that now Steem will be essentially populated with Justin Sun and the Koreans, there's hope that they will want some financial benefits and try to pump and dump Steem price multiple times to sell their assets. So selling your 3k liquid STEEM is up to you and depend how you think this will unfold. There still might be a few opportunities to sell STEEM at a much higher price in my opinion.
And to answer a bit about your comment to penderis, don't get your hopes up. It won't be much different than Steem here I think, same people circle-jerking, same private clubs and so on...
