I saw them back when the Hive name was picked. There's not much anyone can do. If you chose to pick a common English word, getting and defending a trademark (them, us or the other Canadian mining company or any of the other uses all over the place) is pretty tricky.

Maybe they should have called it hyve...

If you ask me, the confusion between Steem and the game site Steam was always worse than any of the current Hive name collisions.

I agree. And the number of times I accidentally typed "steam" instead of "steem" was probably...every time.
