Hey Hivers!
I am excited to be making the first post with this account! Some of you may have interacted with me in the past through the posts of @thetroublenotes. I've been an active member of the community since 2017. The story of Hive and the resilience of this community is a romantic story for me, one that should be shouted from the Blocktops. Crypto is entering uncharted territory. Institutions are stepping into the game and soon the dark forces of corporate finance will aim to manipulate the space. Hive and everything built here can serve as the lighthouse for others navigating the cloudy waters that lie ahead.
Who am I really? My name is Bennet. I'm a classically trained violinist who began his training at the young age of 4. I grew up in Chicago and went to University in NYC. For the first half of my early 20's, I worked at a hedge fund on Wall Street. Walking among the sharks and swimming with the whales. It was an experience I'll never forget. I danced with the devil, but I also learned valuable insight into the "game" and all of those who play it. In 2013 I embarked on a new journey. I quit my job, packed a bag and violin, and boarded a plane for Europe where I would begin a new musical adventure. The creation of @thetroublenotes would set me on a new course, one away from finance and politics and putting the focus on bridging cultures and opening minds. I started with my own. Immersed in new cultures, I became like a sponge, soaking up as much influence as I could - ultimately culminating into new songs and experiences.
For the past 7 years I have lived as a full time musician, spending 9 months per year traveling and performing all over the world. I've made videos on Facebook and Youtube that have amassed tens of millions of views and streams. I've performed at award ceremonies, scored films, opened for heroes, and met some of the most interesting and kind hearted people that the world has to offer. I have hundreds of people to be thankful for, who have opened their homes and their hearts to me and my band of travelers.
Enter 2020. Likely the most trying year of my life. This year has been nothing short of a roller-coaster. If you have read any of my writings or postings on TTN's blog or any of the other channels, you would have some idea. And while I'll likely write more about this, it is not my reason for this post today. I am ready to embark on yet another adventure. While my life with The Trouble Notes is still only in its adolescence at best, I feel that there are many other things I'd like to accomplish. Novels and short stories. A podcast featuring many of the brilliant minds I've met and have yet to meet along my journey. Political and Economic analysis. Technical analysis and deep dives into new tokens and projects. And of course, LOTS of new music and collaborations.
In the next weeks/months I will be launching a series of new projects and will use Hive and my personal website as the aggregator for all of my work. My goals are two fold: I want to reach as many people with my passions as possible, but also I want to spread awareness for this community and its story. As the Crypto mania is sure to grow exponentially, so must we tell the romantic story of Hive's History. There is a lot to love about this ecosystem. I also hope that in the coming months we can interact with each other more. The past 3 years it's not been easy being regularly active and I am committed to changing that. I do hope that all who read this will not hesitate to reach out and share your projects and passions with me. My mind and heart is always open for collaborations and an exchange of ideas.
I hope that you can sense my enthusiasm in my words and that we can inspire one another to greatness. Thank you Hivers for being a part of my life. I am excited for what 2021 will bring and am optimistic for our future together!

Nice to get a more personal in depth look at one of the faces of the group. I feel music is such a big part of our lives (mine at least) that having great musicians here will help bring the masses. Like, who doesn't like music?!
