That sucks that the smoke was such a problem for you. We had come home from our trip up there right before the winds shifted, so we got lucky! It's one of our favorite places to visit though. I've never spent a lot of time in Escanaba, but I did have some good fish there once!
Yeah we made the best of it our lungs are likely not going to be happy but the fishing was pretty good with the heat and the smoke so I did not care
That is great! I saw a thing online where it compared the AQI to how many cigarettes it was equivalent to smoking in a day.
