Glad you are okay, but sad to hear you are dealing with so much shit. You are a good human for taking care of your matriarch like that. They are such precious gems. I miss all of my older relatives greatly and have been thinking of them a lot lately. Family drama is also the worst and most hurtful too.
I look forward to more of your writing when you are able. However, you take care of what is needed and everything else will be here when you are able. Don;t forget to take care of yourself as well.
Thank you so much for your kind thoughts. I'm doing the best that I can for her as she's given so much to the family by herself, and it's long past time we gave back. I don't smoke, drink, and have never done drugs, but addiction must really take ahold of a peson to cause them to take advantage of the elderly, but I'll continue offering protection because she deserves it and it's the right thing to do.
