I have also uninstalled my Facebook app, and I have completely disengaged from corporate social media. That's right, no Tic tok, Instagram or X either. We keep looking for a hero in these dark times, but guess what? No hero is coming.
The only way we can beat this is by using true people powered media, Because now we can clearly see that when the going gets tough corparations crumble to the pressure. Fantastic, but what is more important than just using Hive for this, is to try and get others to use it as well. When we publish content to hive, we devalue it, because other people don't want content on their platforms that is published elsewhere (eg, think a book, editorial article, or other things) - the reality is, without the content being here, however; hive has no value.
Therefore, the more content we can get on hive, the more value hive (as a platform) and hive (as a decentralised network) can have to humanity.
