Those of you who are here from the beginning of the Steem Blockchain know that there was a time when people coordinated amazingly to create new projects and create something new from nothing. @utopian was such a project that helped not only open-sourced projects but also normal and hard-working people to work on projects and earn Steem tokens from the rewards given on the post.
I remember that Coingecko was one of the projects that were helped by the @utopian developers and members to build their app and help them with their APIs.
Today morning after I saw the price jump of Hive on the community dashboard here, I quickly opened the Coingecko app and went on to open my portfolio section, where I have added Hive to my watchlist.
I saw that the price of Hive had jumped 70 per cent approximately to a current high price.
But then I switched back to the dashboard to see and check on the other cryptocurrencies that have taken a similar jump. To see and compare other cryptocurrencies with Hive, I sorted the currencies using the percentage mark, and set it up to show it in descending order.
But to my surprise, even though the percentage change of the Hive token was greater than any other currency on the list, it was not shown anywhere at the top. I was surprised and took a screenshot to check and ask other users about the problem. And what could be a greater source to share this finding than the Hive platform itself?
So you can check the screenshots shared below and see for yourself if the problem is with the app or some bug is making it show like that.
