The HIVE supply on @coingecko has been stuck for ages!
It points out to https://hive-db.com/api/props that is not working for years. It shows a supply of 371M for more than two years.
Coinmarketcap for example shows the virtual HIVE supply.
With the current low prices the virtual supply is quite high, 478M, while the HIVE only supply is 392. Coingecko 371M are now quite off from the both of these numbers.

From the API docs provided, I cannot find a REST API endpoint to immediately pull the data in raw txt form. If it is not possible to pull the numbers directly via https://api.hive.blog/. May you suggest another endpoint?

Coingecko is a crypto app. Sometimes it's not always up to date. I think data is manually inputted !
Not really , I don't think such a huge app can afford manual entry.
