If there is one thing that can make Hive to growth imensly that would be "native" secure bridges to Ethereum and EVM compatible blockchains, BSC, Matic, Arbitrum etc.
@fbslo was working on a wrapped HIVE a long time ago.
Anyone that can do some job in this area, that would be an immense growth driver for the ecosystem. If we need to allocate funds from the DHF please do it. I think this is a priority no.1.
We are seeing the Hive dapps like LEO and Splinterlands are doing it, but a proper, decentralized and secure bridge with high liquidity can go a long way.
I think when finished LeoBridge is able to swap Hive to BSC, ETH and Poly and vice versa, though I think it's not decentralized but am not sure about it
I am not sure why HIVE and HBD are not part of the Cubfinance pools to begin with. That would be a great starting point and tie those two tokens to the outside world. It would also help to generate more fees.
Agree. Integration and cross- functionality would make the chain much more palatable to a broad range of investors with varied interests.

A centralized version of it is working
If this is done, I would suggest a bridge to the CRO coin EVM when it launches. This way we have a direct link to spend via the Visa card without having to do a bank transfer.

@fbslo has already created the secure bridge. There is lack of liquidity because of a lack of usecase.
All other chains need to bridge to the smart contract platforms to survive. DOGE, DASH, .....etc need to be tokenized on these other chains as well. HIVE certainly needs to be as well.
