RE: 2 Years in the S&P 500: How Our Investment Has Performed

in #hive4 months ago

I'm invested in the S&P. And in Berkshire. I assume Greg Abel (the guy who will replace Buffett after he dies or retires) will continue the same somewhat conservative approach to their investments, so I see it as a very safe stock to hold.

I don't know if a Crypto500 could really do anything. Do we really have more than a handful of cryptos that are worthwhile? Well I trust your judgement so if you started something I'd be interested.

Sort:

Berkshire is a solid hold, I think Warren has been training up replacements for years and his current duties are minimal so when he passes, things will carry on as they are in my POV. The SP500 is deffo more conservative but Berkshire is a great addition to a long-term portfolio. Personally, I dont believe in Apple so much, they are a hardware company thats done very little since Steve Jobs died. Apple has a literal mountain of cash they have no use for. Warren is smarter guy than me so he knows something different 😳

And ya, a crypto500 would not work easily. A Crypto 50 or 100 would work much smoother and prob yield better as well cause less risk. If HE had daily volumes of $100k, I'd launch it but not worth the effort to set it up to collect $5-10k in a presale.
