RE: Pages 2 & 3 - "Mr. Skull" is Supporting the HBD Stabilizer

in #hive4 days ago

Inflation should be a problem, but not for Hive. If more people become aware of Hive, buy and create on Hive, or invest in HBD, adoption will grow, as will long-term value. In Hive's case, I think inflation should be in line with the annual global population growth rate.

If the world population grows by 3% annually, a 3% annual inflation rate for Hive shouldn't be a concern, although I don't know the exact percentages. It has more value to add in the long term by growing as a network than by fighting inflation.
I think the network is cheap. I like to compare it to XNO (NANO). It's a network that promises 0% commission for payments using XNO. There are 133 million XNO, and they've all been issued. Hive has use value and is far superior to XNO. Like in your case, you can bet on the APR earned by curating, rent out your HP, and also get 0% commission on many transactions. I just can't wrap my head around how a Ponzi scheme like XNO can have a market cap twice that of Hive. My conclusion is that Hive, as a network, is undervalued. I see more potential for its market cap to grow as a network, along with its ecosystems, than from fighting inflation with downvotes.

That just sounds like a Ponzi. Adding users does not increase HIVE price, especially if most of these new users have a KE over 1.

We can’t grow hive forever. Nothing grows forever. HIVE does have a lot of users right now.

I would rather see good content I like from a small user base that cares about their posts, than bad content from a bigger user base where no one cares about anything they write.

Rewards were never guaranteed. And this keeps going maybe we will have a haircut?

HBD does get more expensive to keep to peg as HIVE goes down in price.

It seems like people don’t care about the things that do matter to HIVE and most people only care about the rewards.

If rewards stop, will many these people stay dedicated to HIVE and still post?
