RE: HIVE Price and Why I Am Not Worried

in #hive26 days ago

That's a big mistake. Falling in love with projects, especially games. I invested a lot of Hive in many games, and they ended up being a waste of money. Now I use different criteria. I check if it's profitable or not, and the first thing I look at is the payback period. This is crucial in the Hive network, where you often end up with a miserable return and a payback period of many years in a short time.

Yes, emotional maturity is something that is very underestimated in this segment. People should be more aware of how their emotions control them.

In this case, reason must always come before emotion.

That's a big mistake.

Life is far more than mere money. Monetizing everything will degrade you until you aren't even human anymore. Not saying you're doing that, but that's a sentiment you seemed to be expressing in your comment. Mike Tyson once said that his promoter, Don King, would sell his mother for a dollar. That's not how civil society becomes more valuable to people, but how they become worthless when people and relationships become tokenized.

It is because so many people so misunderstand what is truly valuable that I strive economically to exchange goodwill as much as possible.

Just in general, falling in love with trades is a bad idea.

I really liked SPL but was never trying to get rich off of it.

Nice to see you using different criteria and looking at paybacks. Payback period is a good metric to use imo.

Look, the only game I'm not interested in making profitable is Rising Star. I started playing it during the pandemic, and it helped me during that time. Rising Star is how I found Hive. I've played many games on Hive, and they tend to be unprofitable or have a very long payback period.
For example, the Arcade Colony casino game. With one post, you can earn more money than you would in a whole year spending money on and playing the game.

I started playing it during the pandemic, and it helped me during that time.

That is a good story. I have no problem with Rising Star and wish it great success.

It's real. July 2021, I opened a Hive account to play Rising because I saw videos on YouTube by FdeFlash and Liuke about Rising.

Don't underestimate gaming. NFTS can be worth a lot of money. Getting into the right game when it first starts can make you rich. You can also lose it all. Nobody has a crystal ball.

I think it depends on what you vote on 😅

Not a good love affair, haha!
