You may not believe but it's almost as difficult to post a gif as to animate it! lol
Problem is always the same, after render the animation, make the video, convert to gif and compress it till have the right size to be upload it on post but maintain a reasonable quality is an adventure!! 😖 Sometimes i'm able to upload 8Mb size, sometimes just below 5Mb i'm able to upload, weird!
I have some Hive video animations that I give up to try to upload because the compression needed to reduze the upload size is not compatible with the minimum quality for a gif..
This one took me some work! Anyway..
Here is a Hive Logo rotation gif with transparent background (transparent background it mean you can pick it and add on other gif and compose a different gif)

Please can you share how you use to upload your gift image, I have given up a lot of time on some nice and perfect gift images to be used in my post because I could not upload them.
The only upload options I use to see on the frontends are for just pictures.
I use peakd and at least on peakd when you click on Upload Images you'll be able to upload pictures (.jpg, .png, .jpeg) and .gif, problem have to be with gif size, gifs up to 5Mb are ok to upload.
