Hello EDS'ers. Today is the day we issue the EDS weekly report to keep all your guys up to date and let you know how things are going.
What are EDS tokens?
EDS tokens are HIVE income tokens that pays out weekly dividends every Monday based on 12% of the total power up the balance of the @eddie-earner account. This is currently paying out an APY to token holders of over 28%.
(Example of how the HIVE income pool is worked out)
- EDS is pegged to 1 HIVE per token
- 12% of over 104,000 HIVE POWER pays out (104,000*12/52.18) 240 per week
- EDS in circulation each yield (240/40,000) 0.006 HIVE per week
- 0.006 each week for 1 year (52.18) equals 0.31 HIVE
- 1 EDS pays out a HIVE income of roughly 31% per year
EDS tokens launched with a hardcap of 500,000 and a public sale of 20,000 tokens each issued for 1 HIVE each. There are 2 ways to mint new EDS tokens. 1 is by owning and staking either EDS miners (EDSM) are EDS mini miners (EDSMM) tokens and 2 is delegations HIVE POWER to @eds-vote. EDS Miners yield roughly 20% per year and EDS-vote yields around 4-5%.
EDS converts all earnings, airdrops, tribe tokens into HIVE. This account is 100% focused on powering up as much HIVE as possible. It's just that single-minded. This projects weekly saving club content is run by @shanibeer and wallet by @silverstackeruk both on behalf of SPinvest. This is a long term project and should be viewed as a token to stack up and HODL. Buy some miners, let them mint you some EDS tokens, build a pile and collect weekly HIVE dividends. In other words, buy some EDSM miners and forget about it. Add a few every week/month and watch your EDS pile grow. You can also buy EDS directly from the market, if you add a buy order for any amount at 1 HIVE each, it'll get filled. It might take a few days but it'll get filled as some miners like to sell their mining rewards right away to lock in them profits.

Lets get a look at the charts this week
We minted 371 EDS tokens this week and I would predict we will mint closer to 400 next week as eds-vote for the second-week running has gained a massive delegation, this week it was 30k HP. I assume it will be a short-term delegation but we'll milk it while we have it and the delegator 🐋 will get almost 1/4 of the EDS minted from eds-vote as rewards. We'll have 50k circulating soon!
Pretty standard week. Ohh wait, this week was better than most because our content rewards were around 20 HIVE more than normal. You know the content we produce, it is the same 4 posts per week and we're not shitposting. 100% upvotes are welcome, haha 10% is cool as well but it all ends up powered up and helps with our growth which is good long term, very good 😁
Massive increase of 0.54 HIVE this week. I have never looked at this, dont know why but I've just worked out the % growth rate of the HIVE income pool. So this week, the income pool increased by 0.0022%. This would equal 11.4% per year and this number would also be our yearly HP growth rate because the income pool and HP balance are linked. Cool stuff? In the original model (pre-miners), HP growth was projected at 6% so nearly double that is an amazing feat and proof of what a small group of investors can achieve.
Another week, another declining week. This the EDS APY declined by 0.18%, the same as its been doing the past 3-4 weeks. The fact is EDS is still wiping the floor by paying out weekly HIVE income of over 28% APY. The above chart looks nasty as hell but we'll keep adding candles week by week and in 5-10 years, this decline period will be long forgotten and it'll be up, up, up. It's just the waiting between now and that time. Those who understand the EDS model understand this is inevitable.
How do you build a HIVE income that only ever increases over time?
If the EDS project sounds right up your street, there are 2 ways to get your hands on EDS tokens. Building a HIVE income is one of those things when it's better to get started sooner than later. We all put money aside for a pension/old age with the money we earn from jobs, so why not do the same with blockchain earnings? If blockchain is the future, why not be playing the game of life 3 steps ahead of everyone else? There's no day like day to start increasing your income and the snowball effect is real when you have patience.

Weekly Roundup
Another successful week is behind us and we get a little closer to the end goal of being a fully automated HIVE income beast with an ever-increasing APY. There's going to be so many people in a few years that will think, damn I really missed the boat on that. It'll be the same people that never bought miners cause they thought they missed the boat on the EDS direct sale are the same people that hold back from delegating to @eds-vote because they don't hold miners.
Everyone has to start somewhere and EDS is a long-term project, we're planning to run for as long as the HIVE blockchain exists so a HIVE income from EDS is an income for life. What price do you think HIVE will be in 10 years from now? higher or lower? If you are serious about being on HIVE long-term, you should view EDS as a never-ending, ever-increasing, 100% passive HIVE weekly payment token and the more you have are can get, the better.
