What we reveal today is an immense milestone for EXODE, a step made possible thanks to all that has been done recently.
EXODE already has content, factions, and named characters active in this universe. We all love characters like Eliza, Oksana, Shen, Stug, Ayumi or Alanna.
We already have a world now working with entire collections thanks to Colonization Challenges. It uses all your set of cards. We have some content late, so we worked hard to address some of that with our late content benefits, and they will be made stronger later with drops.
Our next card openings are for Conquest of Achea (now imminent, thinking January/February), then Beta Boosters (February/March, but estimated), and then making Genetician Packs able to create your hybrids.
And the opening after this... is already this one!
This initiative we now share is pushing the world exposure in a step SO BIG, it could settle a brilliant future all by itself. Surprisingly, it will do so even more importantly than actually sharing screens or clicking on assets.
It's bigger, stronger so let's speak about it.
2325 is vibrant, alive.
But today we offer the initiative for it to pierce the veil and be shared.
Because we have all the requirements for it.
Literally all of them.
So it becomes stupid to sit on it any longer.
Our mission to you, and to this world, is to make all of this used.
Today we start the process of giving to the world of 2325, all the conviction of thousands of viewers, thousands of future readers, thousands of future people saying 'oh I know about this world! there are these characters I know from there!'.
We need to use our firepower and plant the seeds in the real life world.
You'll notice something with EXODE, something making every little faction its own value, it unique and its own niche, and every character so.
And it is the world.
It is the worldbuilding.
EXODE can use not only the mint power. EXODE also has the heart and mind, the vibrant world shouting for survival and fighting its very last stand, the power, the emotion of the sacrifice of thousands of soldiers fighting to defend the very last stations of mankind.
We have a world, and once we open the doors, new people will be a part of it, for it is one of our strengths even before they can see there is a game, or a value to gain in their packs.
Thousands of readers of it will then be thinking your cards, your content, has collector value because it speaks of someone they know, of a world they saw, of a world that touched them.
Speculation works shortterm.
Worldbuilding, once shared, lasts for decades.
Who needs to contribute 'speculation only' to the world?
The world we made is our culture, and every character, starship and story contributes to it. The real world may be capitalistic, but our worldbuilding is our pyramid, and the steel doors protecting your value here in 2325.
How about building the room then, and the doors they can open, and the sign saying "we are here, our world is here"? and using the best medium to share worldbuilding?
Right now, instead of 'hiding in a corner', out there where to become fans, you 'first have' to be like an Indiana Jones going through the jungles of blockchain?
A novel was already started a long time ago, but was pushed behind the code.
It is as if we literally "hid the novel concept" instead of making it vibrant.
It was because we lacked a solution to make it 'work', alongside the game and the collection. We wanted first to make sure hundreds of cards could be used.
Today, we have it, so today, this shyness stops.
Today, we share, we grow, we plant the seeds.
We assume this world's power, and it's capacity to grow, and be shared.
Because today, we found a solution to it.
And are now a lot more confident in our ability to make it reach the step we want for it.
A novel can share the universe to so many eyes and expand us into an ocean of new people. A novel can also install the "canon", the reference materials, allowing new authors to then share more around the intellectual property.
But who needs a novel?
You may think we need a game first right?
Of course a novel is installing the "garden of 2325" where things will grow. Of course a novel is a big step, so because it is big, we may think it's for later. But these things do not happen out of the blue. Nothing does. It has to be started. And is it to sit on our computers by the way? Is it there for what, bragging rights? "oh look, we have a text now?".
No it is not.
Absolutely not, captains!
This world deserves more than that. And you too.
I mean it as a full initiative.
An english text translated (we can absolutely do that),
revisions (no problem),
an agent (we can find one too).
And an english serious publisher with a large distribution capacity (which is the job of the agent, but our series concept is so nice, I don't think it can be resisted ultimately). The question is not, "is it easy", it is more, "would 100% of all good publishers in the world be NOT interested in the concept of EXODE and a book series?" well, of course not.
I can pitch the idea to whoever and they would think it's big, it's emotional, it's strong, it needs to be there. Their only question will be about the author, which means doing the book.
So we can do the whole process, the big endeavour. And nothing is stopped by doing it: I wrote several times a book volume only through blog articles, and this did not stop the rest either.
You know by the size and number of articles how much writing I can tackle.
Who knows how far the rewards of these efforts can be?
At worst, not much, but won't have been much efforts either, and even in the best half or quarter of outcomes? literally the moon...!
But the first step is now, and it's with you.
But why do that?
We also want content and gameplay!
Well, actually...
How about having ALL OF IT?
Having content and gameplay and value, also working hand in hand with it?
This is what is great about WEB3 and innovative methods: we always find out there is something that was not made but which really works.
Everyone will want that protagonist from the book.
And you will be the one owning it.
All the rare characters people will want, all the content shared in the books, playable. Something so alive its value will certainly grow along as the audience.
This is the moment when the applied ideas of contract packs, card drops, challenges/utility, colonization, and writing, all assemble, and say, "guys, here is EXODE, and it's so big, here take a novel, a game and maybe later a TV show."
This strategy of expanding may sound crazy: definitely. But logic says it's actually viable, we have the world, it just needs the steps and effort.
