Congratulations on nine years here! There are plenty of reasons to stay and I count myself amongst the ones who will be here until the "lights go off" (hopefully this never happens). To me, other social media platforms feel as though you're shouting into the empty wilderness. Hive is much more community focused and I love that. I've worked hard to try to gain traction on X over the past year and it's proven to be impossible without paying to "boost" posts. Here the platform pays us, even if it's a meager amount that's better than anywhere else. There's also genuine engagement as well which is even better.

Thanks!
I know many say we need more users on Hive, but the reality is that only a handful is really active and have the community mentality. Most are just passing through. I'd much rather have a strong core to build up a healthy structure than thousands of loose stones that don't build anything.
You're welcome! I agree with that philosophy!
