Less active authors means less competition. And that means bigger rewards. I am loving my recent gaming posts rewards. Still seeing how many people are powering down their stake is depressing and sad.

That's a good point. There are definitely opportunities during quieter periods. Hopefully we'll also see more people stay and continue building instead of powering down.
