What is HIVE to you?
HIVE is not a hard-fork of steem, but rather Hive is the natural evolution of steem.
Following Justin Sun's acquisition of steemit and the ninja mined stake that came along with it, steem could longer be considered a decentralized platform and the community made a clear choice to move forward under the HIVE brand.
It's the same community, the same freedom, but the ninja mined stake is no longer able to be abused by a single entity.
HIVE is steem.
What do you want to see HIVE evolve into?
As one of the most powerful and scalable blockchains that most importantly is being used to create things even as you read this, HIVE is already evolving before our eyes.
It really doesn't matter what I want HIVE to evolve into, because just like in nature and all facets of free-market economics, it will just evolve.
With an already self-sustainable ecosystem of content creators, curators and developers, the conditions for natural evolution are already right here.
HIVE will naturally evolve.
What do you think about having a large funded DAO for future HIVE development?
As much as we like to be idealists in this space, money drives innovation.
One of the biggest issues with steemit owning the ninja mined stake was that they were able to benefit financially, without having to actually do any work.
This hindered innovation and development because there was a clear disconnect between who was delivering value and who was getting paid for delivering said value.
A DAO is a fair and democratic system where those providing value are rewarded by the community, without the say-so of any single entity.
What does HIVE mean to you?
HIVE is my online home that I alone have full, autonomous control over.
Nobody on HIVE has the ability to censor my content on the blockchain, remove my account or prevent my ability to do business.
Using the HIVE token, there are no supply shocks or third parties required to move money where I need it to go.
HIVE means freedom.

Yes this is true, hive is not a hardfork but an evolved STEEM where people trust each other even though they have differences between one another. A true freedom and real community is here on hive.
