Hello Hive and Peakd Community,

I thought it would be best to make my first Blog here something about me. I’m sure ya have read plenty of these, but who’s to say you can’t learn something new from me. Jaja

Well where should I start… Lately I’ve been looking at ways to make my presence online and on the Blockchain more visible and accessible. I was out for some time due to some personal reasons and family matters. Now that I find myself in a more stable environment with a group of people more positive, I can get back to the one thing I loved to do more. This was reading on forums, about new projects that were coming into the crypto space, and playing with code on EVM environments. When Ethereum was a baby. I also loved trolling a few newbies back in the early Bitcoin days on the BitcoinTalk Forum. Not only did I love trolling but I loved reading what trolls had to say to me. Them days were amazing!

Now in days I’m looking to catch up on the few things I feel I’ve missed while dealing with my personal matters. I can definitely say this much… WOW How much has this space evolved in such few years. Now Bitcoin is worth $100,000 plus compared to the $0.30 it was worth when I first began in this space. And let’s not forget that only a few cryptos were on the scene compared to the thousands, if not millions we have now.

In the beginning to get my Bitcoins I would do graphic designs and build websites for a lot of the projects being introduced in the early days. I also looked for bugs on the early exchanges. Those were the days! I remember personally having more than 300 Bitcoins in my possession only to sell them for scraps when I wanted a few dollars. I still can’t get over this. Even till this day.

Now I’m focusing on doing things differently. Now I want to become what we would call Strong Hands or Diamond Hands. This was a term we gave those who held their crypto at all cost and sold for no reason.

Fast forward to now and there is one maybe two currencies I am very intrigued with. One coin is called Flare, it is supposedly tied to XRP. One thing I can say about the Flare community is that it’s an impressive community. Really active on what we now call X formally Twitter. They offer a few impressive improvements that coins don’t normally offer to user straight out the box. FXRP, FAssets, FTSO, to name a few.

Another project I find very interesting is Aster. This project is supposedly compared to another project called Hype. They both focus on perpetuals and trading technology. I came across Aster on X after the founder of Binance mentioned it on his account.

If any of you would like to learn a bit more about it or maybe play with what they are developing head over by going to their website, https://www.asterdex.com/en/referral/2b20F0

Hey @palomap3,

Thanks for the welcome. Yes it is great that I can now focus on the things I’m passionate about. Crypto and Blockchain being a few. And I would sure hope someone would learn a few things from being that I do have a lot to share for those who are interested in those topics.

I found out about Hive during the Steem days. Before the whole ordeal with Justin Sun and his Hostile Takeover efforts. Seems like something was always going on during those days.

Again I want to thank you for the welcome. And I look forward to hearing more from you in my other Blogs.

I arrived after the split, so you'll know more about the history than I do. Did you have an account on the legacy chain? It would be good to mention your username in case you reconnect with any friends from that time.
