Service Paused due to Wait Times
Due to unforeseen circumstances, the wait for Hive Blue accounts has been extended. We are currently about a week behind but will catch up as soon as possible.
I've paused submissions to Hive Blue until we're caught up. It should take a couple of days. Until then, users should use one of our sign up partners. https://signup.hive.io/
We will restore service as soon as we process the backlog of accounts in a couple of days. Stay tuned for a follow-up announcement at that time.
Verification Links
The number of broken verification links we're receiving is having a detrimental effect on sign up times.
If your verification link looks like this, there is nothing we can do. We cannot verify you with something that doesn't even show us a profile.
Due to the potential of ID theft, I will not create an account for anyone who isn't able to verify they are who they claim they are. I'm not looking for your real name and birth certificate. I'm looking to ascertain that you represent the account you are claiming to represent.
Loading the Account
Loading the account is up to the user. The accounts by default come empty. You the user are responsible for loading your own account and investing a few bucks in Hive to do so. You may also issue one post a day with an empty account and grow its value from zero that way, but it will take patience. Learning how to grow an account from scratch or how to invest in Hive is part of the learning process.
Intro Message
When a user signs up through Hive Blue they receive an intro message that shows them how to use their keys, check their transactions, join the main Discord and, most importantly, how to post properly. Recipients are expected to read the message. The message is also provided in different languages should we believe it is needed based on the information in the submission (we can't always be sure). Questionable Accounts
If an account is being created in order to deceive (remember that we're both from the Spaminator/Hivewatchers team) then it will not be onboarded. That would be a waste of your time and ours. Onboarding someone who will have to be de-boarded soon after is pointless and doesn't help the Hive ecosystem one bit.
