Hive ecosystem infographic - Update

Since Hive launched as a blockchain network, we've been actively involved in creating practical visuals that help showcase the ecosystem. Some of our first strong results came from Hive-focused infographics that were very well received by the community. That first piece was born from an idea by @theycallmedan, who asked for an ecosystem infographic, and from that moment we confirmed something important: design is also a key tool to explain Web3.

As a project, we see visual assets as a bridge. Long-form content can go deep, but a strong infographic lets someone get a clear picture of what's happening on Hive in just a few seconds—that’s how we see it.

This time, after several hours of research and internal community feedback, we're launching a new infographic designed to showcase most of the Hive applications that are currently active or in development.

The hard part isn't just designing; it's coordinating the information. Hive is constantly growing and changing: some apps go inactive, others evolve, and new projects appear all the time. That’s why one of the most challenging parts of this work was verifying which apps are still active, adding the new ones, reviewing logos, refining visual details and, in some cases, optimizing each project’s visual identity so the infographic keeps a consistent style.

The entire piece was built in Adobe Illustrator, with special attention to visual hierarchy, readability, and category-based organization. However, we know that an ecosystem infographic "expires" quickly if it's not kept up to date. Based on suggestions from several community members, we’re now reviewing how to optimize and automate parts of this process.

Our goal is for this infographic not to be a static asset, but a useful tool for the Hive ecosystem. It can be used in presentations, educational content, onboarding new users into the Web3 world, or as support in posts and marketing campaigns that highlight real use cases on the blockchain.

Do you think this kind of visual resource makes it easier to explain what Hive is, and what can be done in the ecosystem?

Is there any app or project you feel is essential to include in future versions of the infographic?

If you believe this piece can help someone better understand Hive, feel free to share it, use it in your posts, or show it when you talk about Web3. Together, we can make the ecosystem clearer, more approachable, and easier to explain.

I love this infographic for it's clarity. But mostly for the inspiring depth of features. Several of which are new to me. So I will be exploring it in detail. And hopefully sharing it in relevant posts.

I was especially pleased to see @waivio. As it's a very interesting project that seems to get overlooked. (Including, by me!)

I've thought about apps and projects that I use every day. And I've listed ones that immediately spring to mind. But there may be others.

Wow great 😃

Amazing, thank you!

Just one recommendation - if you share this so that everyone can share, the resolution of the files should be larger than 1280px. I just shared this infographic on Reddit, and it's blurry on my laptop screen. So your file isn't optimal for a desktop. But it isn't optimal for mobile either - a vertical version for mobile would be better - social media is significantly used on mobiles.

Hi @x-rain,tThank you for your feedback, we really appreciate it. You can now download the image in high quality.

We hope to share vertical versions soon.
