I did for over 3 years. Strangely enough it's not just about the money for me. I brought dozens of people to the platform and gave it loads of free publicity. I spent Steem on travelling to Steemfest twice so I could meet people. I have also been to lots of other meetups. I risked retaliation by downvoting some big accounts who acted selfishly.
I fell out of love with Steem when Justin booted out the old witnesses and stole their funds. It looks like you may love the money more than the platform.
