I agree we should not just expect the market to reflect the value that is here.
I understand what you are saying about the trading volume. The liquidity for HIVE is not great given how long HIVE has been around.
Our whales do not shill HIVE which is a strange part about HIVE. Most crypto projects there is heavy shilling.
Maybe we need more marketing just geared towards trading HIVE on exchanges….? 🤷♂️ Not saying that’s what we should do but it’s just an idea 🙂
Also, we could see about getting more exchanges to offer HIVE futures….? A lot of times people trade futures as a hedge so that could be another way to increase trading volume for HIVE.
No idea who would do these things or how but I think just getting the ideas out there is good. 🙂
My understanding is that Crimsonclad was paid a lot of money (still not enough) to do that at conferences and etc. This is a common practice of many investors to hire professionals to perform tasks that increase their rents for their stakes.
It is super common in crypto generally for big holders to do massive shilling campaigns. I just do not see that from HIVE right now.
I am not going to shill HIVE like most things get shilled in crypto. I will talk about the pros and cons of HIVE and take feedback on my opinions and adjust when an feedback makes sense to me.
That being said. Things I am wrong about typically do not make sense to me. One reason I like having friendly debates with you. When people push back against my opinions in good faith that is sometimes very valuable.
Finding people who do things in good faith is the hard part though 😅
What many people still don't understand about Hive is that the ecosystem (the main idea behind the project) has value, but HIVE only has a price.
This point of view changes the whole game.
The ecosystem can generate value several times the market capitalization of Hive. An ecosystem is useless if it's only flooded with useless Layer 2 tokens or if projects are solely focused on development funding. Instead of bringing money and value to the network, they take the development funds.
The Solana network is a prime example. What is the market capitalization of Jupiter, Orca, and Meteora tokens? These projects added value to the Solana ecosystem.
This is why (or at least the main reason) the project needs value, more than price.
Many people are unable (or unsure) to differentiate between these things.
